Rumors are running rampant that Google’s recently announced Web Toolkit is using some technologies from Morfik.
I asked my sources at Morfik if they could confirm or deny the rumors and here’s what I got.
What do you think?“As much as I would like to tell you, I am unable to make a comment one way or another on the question you have asked.
We have always believed in this technology and we are delighted with the many positive responses it is receiving. The idea of the “browser as computing platform and the use of a high-level language – Java, C#, Basic or Pascal to compile into JavaScript” which is dear to our heart now has the support of mighty Google!”

On the GWT Forum, the PM or GWT put this rumor to rest.
“Morfik seems like great technology, but Google Web Toolkit is in no way associated with Morfik or based on its technology.
There have been some rumors circulating on this list that have been causing some confusion, and I wanted to clarify.
