Extra Tasty is a cool new site that makes it easy to see what kind of concoctions you can make with what’s in your liquor cabinet (of for you web 4.0′rs out there your parents liquor cabinet.)
Really quite a fun little app. You can easily add items to your bar with an AJAX popup list that auto-fills. It also list popular items that you don’t have in your bar that you might not think of and you can add them with a single click.
Once you’ve ’stocked’ your bar, you can find out all the different drinks you can mix.
One interesting feature I’d like to see would be to show a ranked list of ingredients that would add to the number of drinks you could make.
For example, if you don’t have Gin in your bar, it would suggest that you could make 15 other drinks by adding Gin to your bar including xxx drink, yyy drink and zzz drink.
Another handy feature would be the ability to save ‘My Recipes’ a list of my favorites that I could then print out in a handy bar book.
Extra Tasty is a fun site that makes for a great party planning resource.
