Swivel is an application that hopes to let you get all of your advertising revenue numbers in one spot.
If you’ve got Google Adsense, Amazon Associates, or Yahoo Publisher Network on your website it allows you to get a better picture of your combined revenue stream all in a single interface. They are looking at Chitika as well.
Once challenge they face, and a problem that really must be solved for Web 2.0 interoperability is the requirement to give them your login credentials to your Adsense stream. Web 2.0 applications need to provide API’s or login credentials that offer limited access to your data without exposing your master login.
Another example is Del.icio.us, there are hundreds of 3rd party applications, many requiring your login credentials. I know Joshua is looking at a variety of angles to solve this as well.
I think what Swivel is planning has an important market. I look forward to how it all comes together.
