At Launch Festival March 4th - 6th 2013, dozens of startups launched their products in front of 5800 people.
One of the interesting ones was Stormboard , an online brainstorming and collaboration tool that uses online sticky notes that you can post online.
It also lets you post photos and link videos. Using dot style voting (called dotmocracy) users can vote for their favorite ideas. And then all the ideas can be exported to a spreadsheet or pdf summary report.
Stormboard announced that 10 of the Fortune 30 are using their product and they are also getting great traction in education. Go check them out at Stormboard.com

Clio is a new startup a good friend of mine, Jack Newton, launched this week. He demoed it at Democamp Edmonton a while back and the product looks really solid.
Clio is a comprehensive web-based practice management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering for lawyers. Clio is specifically designed for solo practitioners and small law firms using PCs and Macs, and can be accessed from any Internet connection and from iPhones.
Clio is being be demonstrated at the ABA General Practice, Solo & Small Firm Division’s Fall Meeting on October 2-4, 2008 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
“Secure and easy-to-use, Clio provides case/matter management, time tracking, billing/reporting, client contact and document management, task scheduling, trust accounting, and performance metrics for independent lawyers to benchmark their business goals.”
Clio looks to be a fantastic way for lawyers to manage their business. Good luck Jack!
